Restore Nature Now and my local Lib Dem candidate follow-up

I remain an undecided voter, as apparently do many. No reply from Mr Dillon. Hmm. Not long to go now. I am sure he has plenty else to be doing, but if he doesn’t have a highly efficient team in place to deal with these things, that’s a worry. A local group, the Hungerford Environmental Action Team (HEAT) haven’t heard from him either. They e-mailed all our local candidates as soon as the election was announced three weeks ago to ask about their green credentials. Labour also haven’t bothered to reply. Steve Masters of the Green Party did as did current incumbent Tory MP Laura Farris who has without doubt been an excellent constituency MP. Unfortunately though, Heat say: “some of the statements made by Laura Farris perpetuate the myths that are circulating about Electric Vehicles and Heat Pumps.  There are many powerful interests keen to exaggerate and mislead voters about the cost of cutting emissions.” I am sceptical about electric cars myself but this is disappointing. The Lib Dems probably have the best chance of getting into power here, but I think I will vote Green. If enough of us do it … And maybe enough young people will to give them a real chance.
