Footage released on Youtube shows two of a nationwide series of detentions of migrants bound for Rwanda.

The footage shows two individuals being taken from their homes. Obviously this is happening now, way in advance of any proposed deportation flights, to try to win votes, which, sadly, will probably work. Barbaric, cruel and insanely expensive as this horrendous policy is, why are the migrants who, for whatever reasons, were presumably not having a great time in their countries of origin, taken away in cage vans and why is one of them handcuffed? Where are they being taken? It’s no good asking the Home Office as if they were in any way answerable to the electorate: “It would be inappropriate to comment on operational details.” Where is the humanity?
