There is a wonderful constant flurry of Blue Tits, Great Tits (they are very vocal this morning) and Sparrows at my feeders and a regular Great Spotted Woodpecker. I have seen a Nuthatch before, but never in my garden. I have gently (I hope) poked fun at certain twitchers and their adrenalin rushes and sleepless nights but did the appearance of this lovely bird make my heart beat faster? It certainly did. I rarely edit my photos at all but I have rotated this one and blurred out the feeder as best I could. This is a very short post, but what else to say when being treated to compact, perfect beauty like this?
